Qaphela Wenze! Take Note and Act!

Children often have greater insight into the routes of HIV infection and bodily responses than we realise. When they understand the importance of HIV testing and treatment, they can be keen advocates for health options among their peers and families, adding impetus to prevention and treatment initiatives.

This video presents insights on HIV by young girls and boys living in East London, South Africa, shares through participatory arts workshops facilitated by the School of Health Sciences at the University of Fort Hare and Young Insights for Planning (YIP). Caring health professionals provide the context for their communications.
